My name is Hans van Hoeckel (1973) and I live in Best (North Brabant, the Netherlands) for over 20 years now. I am married to Nicole and have two beautiful daughters. Besides my work I get a lot of energy from my family and friends with whom I like to do fun things at the weekend. Because of my Burgundian lifestyle I enjoy cooking and I like to drink a nice (blonde) beer or wine at the weekend. Together with my partner Nick I started Brightnewday because I think it is very important to contribute to technical developments in the interest of “People, Society and the Environment”. With all the global challenges in the field of environment, sustainability, food supply, healthcare and electrification, it is my goal to have an impact with all Brightnewday colleagues and customers in the interest of the future of my and your children. Technical solutions will be developed for all these challenges and we are happy to support our customers in realizing their technology roadmap. We want to do this with a fresh team of motivated and expert engineers with whom we work on the basis of respect, equality and fun. Within Brightnewday my strength lies in organizing things. Getting things done. My passion lies in finding a solution for the challenges and issues of our clients together with our team.

My name is Kris Vandebriel, I‘m married to Suzy Poets and together we have two great kids, Sander and Fiene. In my spare time I`m involved with multiple social organisations and have my own small farming business. From my childhood on I have a passion for technique and innovation. Throughout my career I learned that the two things that drive me the most in my work are innovation and being able to stimulate and challenge people to outgrow themselves. That’s why I`ve decided to join Hans and Nick in building a company where these two things are the basis of day to day activities. If we can contribute in this way to solve societal challenges it makes it even more fun. I like to build a company according to the principle that smart people can take own responsibilities and deliver results instead of effort. An environment with a high can do attitude, where our bright innovators can discover, experiment and learn. In short: Brightnewday!
